Chess academies in Dubai 12

Teaching is the busiest part of Dubai’s chess. Most academies sit in office towers and malls: Chess Lab in Al Quoz, iMaster in the BurJuman Business Tower, Master Moves with one centre at Bay Avenue Mall in Business Bay and another in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Signature Chess Club in The Greens with a second address in Dubai Sports City, and the Moscow Chess School in Dubai Marina.

Most of them also run tournaments of their own, and the tournament server lists dozens of dated events for several of them, which is why their entries show a recent date. Group classes, private lessons and school programmes are the usual offers; a few pages state a minimum age, a trial lesson or a price. Smaller names such as Chess Knowledge, Sino Chess Academy and Adnan Chess Academy are known from a guide or a single tournament, and their entries say so.
