Chess in Dubai

Send an academy or club

Use this form for an academy, a club, a meetup, a café with regular games or a recurring championship in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman that the index does not list, or for a line in an entry that is wrong.

A link does most of the work: a Meetup event, a tournament page, a federation notice, an academy’s own page or a public post. Messages are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every resulting change is dated in the index changes.

What is the message about?
New entry: what happens there and on which days. Correction: quote the line that is wrong.
The address of a web page, a chess-results.com tournament page, a Meetup event or a public post where it can be read.
Only to know who wrote; it never appears on the site.
A phone or messenger handle works too, if email is not convenient.

Give at least one way to reach you; it is never published and is used only for a reply.

How the message is handled is described under privacy and personal information.

What happens next

  • Messages are kept together until the next revision of the index.
  • Each is then compared with the page given or with the organiser’s own pages; if they confirm it, the entry changes and the change is dated.
  • Without a page that supports it, the entry stays as it is.
  • A reply is sent only on request and only to the contact given.
