Privacy and personal information

What the form receives

The form sends a name, at least one contact you choose and the message itself: the entry it concerns, what should change and the page that shows it. Nothing else is asked for.

How messages are stored and used

Messages are held by a form service and read together at the next revision of the index. They are used only to check and correct entries and, when asked, to reply. They are not sold, shared or added to a mailing list.

How visits are counted

A small script served from this site’s own domain counts visits. It sets no cookie, does not follow anyone to other sites and stores nothing that identifies a person; it records the page, the referring site and, when a link to a place is opened, that link.

Nothing loaded from other sites

The pages load nothing from elsewhere: no advertising, no social buttons, no outside trackers, no web fonts and no map tiles. The map button opens openstreetmap.org only when it is pressed.

Seeing or deleting a message

A message you sent can be shown to you, corrected or deleted on request. Use the form again with the same name and contact, say which message is meant, and it is handled at the next revision.
